TonyBet hopes to go live in the Netherlands soon
The Kansspelautoriteit (Ksa) recently announced that it currently has 30 new license applications pending. The gaming provider TonyBet is one of the potential new legal providers in the Netherlands. The company has indicated that it has submitted an application and hopes to enter the market within two months.
Completing the license application process
TonyBet has not indicated how long ago the application was submitted to the Kansspelautoriteit. However, the gaming company is said to be currently testing the platform in cooperation with the Ksa. If this rumor is true, then the application is in the completion phase, reported india-casinos.in. The gaming provider TonyBet is an experienced player and has been active in the United Kingdom for quite some time. In addition, the platform is already available in other countries around the world. It seems only a matter of time before TonyBet will go live in the Netherlands.
New legal gaming providers
In October 2021 only 10 gambling providers received a license from the Ksa. In the course of 2022, several new gaming providers were added, including ZEbet, Circus.nl, and the 777Casino. It is expected that at least 10 to 15 new legal gambling sites will be launched on the Dutch gambling market this year. These would include Unibet, VideoSlots.com, and Oranje Casino.
TonyBet
In 2011, TonyBet was founded by Lithuanian Antanas Guoga. The founder is better known by his poker name 'Tony G', hence the name of the gambling company. The experienced poker player decided to buy the online casino site Ombinet and changed the name to TonyBet. A good choice, as the company grew into an international success.
The focus of TonyBet is on betting on sports. However, players can also play along with hundreds of casino games and live casino games. In the current game assortment, players will encounter games from Pragmatic Play and Play 'n Go, among others.
